Läbi põlvkondade...

Hi friends! I have finally finished my big project, it all started when my great-aunt asked me to put these old photos and laces in a composition  together for my great grandparents memorial service. This year they would have been 100 years old and we are going to have a ceremony in church for their memory. So she gave me photos, laces and a true treasure - peaces of a 80 year old pattern page from 1932. sewing magazine.
Here are five generations from my mother´s side of the family heritage.

 I left the tags empty, I can´t remember all the dates and names my aunt told me, I need some consulting again...

This small figure of a clock on the picture represents the time that has gone so quicly.

1920´s vintage

Hair accessory, that I made for a party, I was looking for a charlestone look with feathers and pearls. So how I made it? Easy, for the base I bend craft wire and covered it with white velvet. Then I decorated it using feathers, gemstones, pearls and a flower. I also sew some hairpins on the back, so it is easy to put in my hair. I`m already looking forward to wear it.

1920.-te stiilis juuksekaunistus, mille tegin ühe peo jaoks. Väga lihtsalt: painutaisn aluseks käsitöö traadi, siis katsin selle valge sametiga ja kaunitasin sulgede, kivide ja lillega. Taha õmblesin juuksenõelad, et oleks lihtsam juustesse kinnitada.

Õmblesin kaks südant, lisaks proovisin teha ka pitsist lilli, et kasutada samasuguseid kaunistusena ühe suurema projekti jaoks.

Natuke valentinipäeva lainel...Selle kaardi põhielement on Saturated Canary digi, mille värvisin akvarellipliiatsitega.

This valentine`s day card is all about Saturated canary digi called hugs and kisses. I used my watercolor pencils on this one, and I think it is the best digi for this card.

Butterfly melody

Liblika meloodia....

...sai selle kaardi nimeks. Olen omadega juba päris suve lainel ja selles meeleolus lainetab ka mu looming.

Although it is a snowstorm out there, my creation is more summery every day. For this card I used orange cardboard, scrapbookpabers (Heyda, Nepal), original tag is from my cardigan, halfpearls, butterfly stencil and silicone stamp (my paper world), papersoft color, pigment ink pad-golden, cotton- and pvc lace, paper flowers. Message on my tag is in estonian language and it means "today´s melody is for you"

Album pisitüdrukule/for a newborn girl

Mul paluti teha album pisitüdrukule, pitsi sisse roosale paberile tuleb temast foto (mille valib ja paneb albumi saaja)

I was asked to make an album for a newborn girl. I used scrapbookpapers, brad, lace, paper flowers, halfpearls, metal corners, label and a charm - key. Inside the pink area should be a photo of that babygirl (I don´t have it at the moment)

Calendar-notebook

I bought a calendar notebook for my father and I decorated it in steampunk style. It is a real challenge for me, to create something for men, but I´m quite happy with the result. I bought embossed paper from craft shop and colored it with distressed ink, paper-soft color, pigment inkpad, added some cord and a charm. That watch was so heavy, I had to use glue, to make sure it would stay there.
