Cafe de Paris

Hello dear friends,

This time I show you my recycled tea bag box. It all started with a need of box to collect coffee money in. In my work place we all drink coffee and buy all the necessary ingredients: beans, milk and sugar. Until now we had this old broken cardboard box to collect our coffee money - 30 cents for a cup. So now I have made a new pretty box for that, hope you will like it.

What I did? The original tea box was fragile and soft, so I covered it with cardboard, then painted it acrylic white and decoupage it with coffe theme paper towels. I added a fabric ribbon to open my box more easily and made some fimo embellishments: cakes and cookie. I also used metal coffee cup charm, paper flowers, coffee beans and a price label, that could be changed. Now the box is very strong and a bit stiff, because of a PVA glue. It came out real nice, hope my co-workers like it too.
I would like to add my project:
